I am Aastha Grover, a Lamaze Certified Child Birth Educator, Lactation Consultant, Prenatal Yoga Instructor and Dietician. I am a part of LAMAZE, IYCF and Association of Lactation Professionals of India. I have nearly 10 years of experience till date. After my Post Graduation from Delhi University specialising in Foods and Nutrition, I started working as a Dietician in Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi after which I taught for sometime in Delhi University as an Assistant Professor teaching undergraduate students the subjects of food and nutrition. I further got an opportunity to work as a Dietician in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai where I used to counsel children suffering from cancer and looking after the wards and ICU units. Further, I joined All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in a research project which made me dig deep into Type 1 Diabetes and takeoff classes/counselling sessions of parents as well as children. I have also worked as a Nutritionist with Healthifyme. I always had maternal and child health nutrition in my mind as my most focused area and finally, I joined Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, New Delhi as a Women’s Health Educator and Lactation Consultant. Currently, I am practising in Fortis Rjn. Dhall Hospital, New Delhi and founder of my own practice which is named as Vedic Motherhood.
